Yunming Jia is a PhD student from China in the Department of Criminal Justice at Temple University. She received her B.A. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Temple University in 2020. During her undergraduate studies, Yunming found herself particularly interested in research methods and statistics and conducted her first research study with Dr. Jeffrey T. Ward on the cycle of violence. Her research interests include youth delinquency and victimization, life-course criminology, and narrative identity.

In her free time, Yunming enjoys sports, dancing, martial arts, music, and reading.
