Biography
Brian Hutler is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Temple University. Brian works on topics in political philosophy, bioethics, and philosophy of law, especially the interesting overlap between these subject areas. Brian’s primary research involves the structure and justification of human rights in contexts such as constitutional law, public health, and global governance. Previously, Brian was a Hecht-Levi Postdoctoral Fellow at the Berman Institute of Bioethics at Johns Hopkins University. He earned a JD and PhD as part of the UCLA Law and Philosophy Joint Degree Program.
